mage Systems AB, Sweden has a long experience within the field of crash testing. Our software package TEMA automotive is in use by
various crash laboratories in Europe, USA and Far East. The design of our software has productivity and easiness as main goals. TEMA can track directly the different formats produced by the various camera
manufacturers (including but not limited to Bayer, Phantom, Weinberger, AVI, TIFF, JPEG, MPEG, BMP) thus avoiding a transfer via AVI. This ensures the highest possible registered information in the image sequences
taken. Tracking is performed from fully automatic to manual, all chosen by simple dialogue windows in the program. Most common tracker algorithms are included like correlation, quadrant and MXT. A special airbag
tracker is available as en hook-up module. For testing of internal safety we have TEMA 6DOF. This module allows the user to measure displacement, speed and acceleration of the head in all three directions, but also
the pitch, yaw and roll with one single camera.
Besides the standard package for 2D measurements, Image Systems also has its 3D package for two or more cameras. The TEMA 3D can handle all image sequences in a
simultaneous tracking procedure, showing all camera views on the display. Calibration procedures are available from our own calibration library or from external sources.
TEMA user interface conforms to Windows standard.
Great effort has been put into the reporting part of the TEMA software following Windows standards for MS Words and Excel. Other export formats includes
ASCII, DIAdem and others on request. TEMA imports data from DIAdem, ISO and other on request. Easy handling of time settings (T zero) makes it simple to handle this type of import data.
