In 1981 Henning Dechow and Wilfried Hummelsheim founded the Dechow and Hummelsheim GbR as an engineering company. One of the first
developed and manufactured products was a modular data acquisition and control system, which has been continuously advanced to its sophisticated actual standard. Today it is well known in it's fourth generation as
the INTERFACER 4 system.
Because of an expanding production and a continuous growth of the company, in 1986 HuDe moved into the new company buildings at the industrial estate area Erkelenz.
Also in 1986 the company was finally restructured by Henning Dechow and Wilfried Hummelsheim into HuDe® GmbH (Ltd).
Besides development and production of electronic components for test and measurement,
the development of customized software for data acquisition, analysis and control became an
important product line. For the last years more and more turn key projects are processed by HuDe. Main focus in the project work is the automotive field with test equipment for components of passive car safety e.g. air bags, belt pretensioners, steering wheels and instrument panels. Especially for air bag involved car parts a complete generation of programmable ignition systems was designed.
In addition to the automotive safety field HuDe develops and manufactures customer specific solutions for automated series test, fatigue tests and quality control systems e.g. for DC- and stepper motors,
climate systems and other components. For laboratory use multichannel temperature measurement systems and general purpose data acquisition and control systems are additional actual products.
HuDe test
equipment is installed around the world and the part of international activities is still growing. To perform very closed customer relationship some agents are present in foreign countries, especially in asia.
Looking forward to new challanges HuDe Datenmesstechnik is proud to celebrate it's 20th anniversary now.
