New release of ISO TS 13499 tools ready for download
ISO-MME, September,6th,2002
The taskforce ISO-MME announced the official release V.1.2 of the ISO TS 13499. This standard describes the exchange of multimedia vehicle safety test data. It is devided in 5 parts:
The main document
describes file and directory structures for the exchange and can be obtained by http:\\www.iso.org
The related electronic document (RED) A "Examples and hints" describes how to use the standard.
RED B "Channel Codes" describes the measurement channel codification
RED C " Figures" contains figures for several dummy types and vehicle measurement locations with teir codes
RED D
"NHTSA Compatibility" describes the additional attributes to store "National Highway Traffic Safety Administration" data
All REDs are available as public PDF document downloads from http://standards.iso.org/iso/13499
The RED B and C are administrated by a database (MS Access 97) which can be downloaded as freeware also from http://standards.iso.org/iso/13499
The database is now available in the newest release 2.3 wit several new features.
