Successful Story of HuDe in China proceeds
Erkelenz, Germany, Feb-2008: Just before Chinese Spring Festival 2008 the new Airbag Deployment Lab of
Yanfeng Visteon, Shanghai was finished by HuDe Datenmesstechnik GmbH. As a turnkey application, all important components of the test lab are integrated in a single operation center, according to HuDe’s test philosophy „One Desk for All Operations“. So consequently the automatic transfer platform of a walk in chamber, several high speed imagers, three independent sets of lighting, exhaust systems and overpressure protections are managed together.
New evaluation software including a set of video tools provides an easy workflow for analysis of high speed
imager recordings. Marker, edge and pixel tracking are used for building data from image sequences. So recordings of the data acquisition system may be completed by data graphs, that are generated by video
analysis. Using this feature, e.g. evaluation of airbag pressure vs. bag deflection becomes an easy task.
To China HuDe started the delivery of test equipment for automotive safety components already in 2003. Today
the number of test lab installations in this country covers inflator tank test systems, linear impactor testers and a
many airbag deployment stands. HuDe will show a list of it’s airbag test and dynamic impact applications at the
