Kayser-Threde’s MINIDAU® is Totally New Inside!
Munich, Germany: After ten successful years and more than 40000 channels sold world-wide Kayser-Threde has upgraded its best seller
with totally new electronic inside. At the same time Kayser-Threde added additional features which no other crash test data acquisition system can offer today. The MINIDAU® still comes in the well proven rugged housing
that ensures the unreached Kayser-Threde quality.The decision to stay with the well accepted housing is extremely beneficial for existing customers even those who have their MINIDAU® in use for ten years. Each existing MINIDAU® can be upgraded with the new electronic and the unique
lithium ion batteries in order to obtain the new features. This means, Kayser-Threde is fully committed to protect the investment of the customers for more than a decade!
The new MINIDAU® is available in three versions. The MINIDAU® Classic offers the identical features of the existing 16-Bit MINIDAU®. The MINIDAU® Advanced offers great new features such as signal bandwidth of 42
kHz, 50 s recording time @ 100 kHz sampling rate, adaptable anti-aliasing filters, overload detection and a fully
programmable 4 quadrant shunt emulation circuit. The third family member is an economic version of the MINIDAU® with the same electronic inside and the same features of the Classic version. However, this Basic
system is using a simpler connector scheme and a simpler but nevertheless rugged housing. The new economic system is intended for customers who only require smaller systems or users who are not running
several tests per day. So far customers with a smaller budget had to purchase other products that have not been designed as rugged onboard system. Now everybody can afford the high quality and reliability of
