25 Years HuDe - Foundation stone laid for new factory
The just elapsed business year, the 25th of HuDe is the most successful ever. The worldwide 70th airbag test lab was installed and the
first big test lab was delivered to USA. In Auburn Hills, Michigan a turnkey static deployment test installation with walk in temperature chamber, high speed imagers and lighting was finished in June, just prior to
the HuDe anniversary. Next step will be the shipping of an airbag test system to China, the 6th one.
On the occasion of 25 HuDes birthday a big party happened in Erkelenz, Germany, the home of HuDe Datenmesstechnik. Beside the
celebration with city council officials, clients, families and business friends the companys new building expansion was initialized. The original factory building was established in 1986, only five years after HuDe
was founded. Due to the permanent growth of HuDes business and the handling of bigger and more complex projects the working space became to narrow more and more. Especially the automotive test group with its design
and manufacturing equipment had to expand their capacity to handle all the new projects. The production of Linear Impact Testers, turnkey Airbag Test labs and vehicle component testers need space, more than
available. With the new part of the building the space will be expanded by 50% so the project engineers, technicians and freelancers will get optimum conditions for their further development and manufacturing works.
