nxt Solutions from Kayser-Threde and Denton for the EUROSID-II Dummy
Denton Inc and Kayser-Threde are proud to announce the availability of the
EuroSID 2re with the unique nxt in-dummy and in-sensor data acquisition system. The new design was shown at the CRASHTEST EXPO in Stuttgart during the
TestingExpo. The new nxt design offers more than 60 channels which can be integrated also into existing EuroSid 2 dummies.
The current design covers about 60 channels. During the design phase our
engineers concentrated on the integration of the MICRODAU Modules very close to the sensor or even in the sensor. CG and mass test had shown that the new
EuroSID 2re nxt is identical to the original dummy design. Thermal test also had shown a minimal increase of temperaure. All values are within the tolerances.
With the shipment of this dummy all customers get dummy calibration certificates,
sensor certificates and a certificate that all CG and mass are identical to the original dummy design. The EuroSid 2re nxt can be easily connected at the
CrashLink Hub to other dummies and to the remaining CrashLink compatible devices. No changes are necessary to integrate the nxt technology into the existing environment. The EuroSid
2re nxt is also fully compatible to Wincarat, CrashDesigner and all other software packages from Kayser-Threde. Until end of 2005 Kayser-Threde offers very attractive Starter Packages. For further
