MESSRING and Kayser-Threde Announce Cooperation in the Area of Software
Munich / Krailling, April May 2003: The companies MESSRING Systembau MSG GmbH (MESSRING) and Kayser-Threde GmbH (Kayser-Threde) hereby
announce their cooperation in the area of ”Software for Crash Tests”. CrashSoft 3 from MESSRING, the worldwide most comprehensive software for preparation, execution, and analysis of crash and sled tests from
MESSRING, will support Kayser-Threde’s MINIDAU data acquisition systems as of fall 2003.
The technical base for the integration of the MINIDAU systems into CrashSoft 3 is an API (Application Programming
Interface) called DACORE that was developed by Kayser-Threde. MESSRING and Kayser-Threde will make the interface description available for other vendors of crash data acquisition hardware too, after the
DACORE-interface was successfully integrated into CrashSoft 3.
