Denton, Inc. and Veridian Reach Agreement In Principle
Denton, Inc., and the BioPO-Human Systems Group of Veridian Engineering are jointly
announcing a cooperative alliance between Veridian Engineering, Inc., Robert A. Denton, Inc. and Denton ATD, Inc., focused on the design, development and production of an advanced
“Hybrid Universal Research Dummy” (HURD) for the Aerospace community. The HURD manikin has been developed as an advanced supplement to the GARD dummy that was developed in the 1960’s.
Veridian is a leading provider of information-based systems, integrated solutions and services to
the U.S. government. The company specializes in mission-critical national security programs for the national intelligence community, Department of Defense, law enforcement and other
government agencies. Veridian operates at more than 50 locations and employs more than 5,000 computer science and software development engineers, systems analysts, scientists, engineers and other professionals.
For over twenty-seven years, Robert A. Denton, Inc. has been the leading global supplier of technologically
advanced, multi-channel load cells utilized in the complete family of crash test dummies for safety testing applications.
Denton ATD, Inc. is a leading international manufacturer of crash test dummies (ATDs). Product offerings range
from the “CRABI” 12-Month-Old-Infant Child to the H-III5F small female and the updated large male dummy (H-III95LM). The family of 20 Denton produced ATD’s are tested and certified to regulatory specifications and
safety standard guidelines. All of the ATDs can be fully instrumented with calibrated precision load cell devices.
