Denton COE presents new 1401 series data logger for °C and %rH

Denton COE is introducing model 1401H, a 3-channel, sub-miniature  data logger for long term registration of temperature (°C) and relative humidity (%rH) inside crash test dummies or test cells. The data logger has an integrated temperature and humidity sensor and has an input for an external sensor, too (e.g. second temperature transducer or a break contact element). The very small and compact housing and the low weight (13 grams) give the best condition to mount the device on difficult locations. The internal temperature range is from -20°C to +70°C with a resolution of 0,1°C. The internal humidity range is from 0% to 100% with a resolution of 0,5%. The sampling interval can be adjusted from 10 seconds to 24 hours. The internal memory is capable of more than 12 hours recording time at 5 minutes recording interval. The internal power battery operates up to 1 year.

For easy PC-connection (RS-232), Model 1401H is using the three-wire bus interface, which is already known from all other devices of  the 1401 series. The data logger can be put onto the same bus line together with other 1401-types (like 1401T – dual axis tilt sensor). It has all ID-features of the family. Combined with a Handheld PC (like Compaq iPAQ) or a standard PC and a software the user can download all logger data or can display actual values.
