Next Release of HuDe Multiple Channel Stationary Ignition Systems
Stationary test applications involved by automotive safety devices currently
use an increasing number of pyrotechnic ignition units. Related to OOP test reqirements now sophisticated test procedures are used for controlled
ignition of single / multiple stage airbag gas generators, belt pretensioners and other pyrotechnic parts. Tailored for that applications HuDe
Datenmesstechnik announces the next release of BF12/xx-ignition controller series. Based on new designed internal power supply and higher
component density a standard ignition controller now provides up to 24 separate channels. Each channel output is galvanic isolated, has an
integrated pulse monitoring and 2- or 4-wire squib resistance measuring. All system outputs provide separately programmed ignition pulses up to 5 amps and 10 ms length. Timing for each
channel is controlled by a precision delay unit in steps of 1µs related to external or internal trigger pulse. In
static deployment test applications additional interfaces control high speed cameras, lighting and climate chambers. For more information contact info@hude.com.
