IST Changes Name
IST has changed its name from Instron Schenck Testing Systems to Instron Structural Testing Systems. This small change is in line with
the original agreement with Schenck and simply reflects that IST is a 100% owned division of Instron Corporation, Boston, Massachusetts. This name change does not in any way affect our strategic alliance with Carl
Schenck AG (part of the Duerr Group) who remain a key partner worldwide, particularly at our facility in Darmstadt, Germany. To most of you we are simply known as IST. This remains unchanged as do all aspects of the
day to day operation of the company and our interaction with our customers, associates and partners.
